Watching Unbelievable with my wife and the officer says “he’s in a gray Toyota Corolla” when it’s clearly a Camry. My wife’s reaction to me pointing it out.
But really why would the cop say a model name and not just “Grey Toyota Sedan” better to be less specific than to be wrong.

In his defense, if you’re going to mix up two cars those would be it.

If they’d mistaken it for a Hummer , I’d be more concerned.

I was thinking the same thing. This gen Camry was good, but looks much smaller than it really is.

My problem with a lot of the science and technology I see on TV isn't that they get it wrong, it's that it would have been so easy to get it right. I'd say that's the case here too.

I'll never forget when someone referred to my blue Outback as a Grey sedan

How do you think I feel watching TV made in America where no one seems to know what U.K. streets, cars, etc... look like.
ZM isn’t used as a regional identifier.
‘38' would make this car regi stered between 1st of April and 1st of October 2038 .
This BMW (fourth gen) 3 Series E46 from between 1997 and 2006, has got a 2012 licence plate.
What’s with the idiotic Battenburg livery on these police vehicles?
The Metropolitan Police logo!? It would of been cheaper and easier to Google it, save the file and then had someone print it rather than make one.
Below is an actual Met Police Mercedes Sprinter van.
They know how to do Met Police livery on a BMW because they do it each time to promote the London Met Police runners who race in New York for a childrens charity.
